A Snapshot of Our Occupational Services

Research has demonstrated that good psychological wellbeing, emotional intelligence and personal resilience are essential threshold conditions for effective performance and the achievement of full potential.

Identifying and managing the psychological and behavioural factors that influence attention, reasoning, learning, decision making, relationship management and good communication, is now a central part of the modern occupational health and personal development agenda.

Think CBT has developed a range of specialist occupational services to support professionals and organisations. These services are provided on an individual, retained or contract basis and cover the following key areas:

Professional Management / Executive Coaching

We combine leading edge Coaching techniques originally developed in the high performance leadership field, with established cognitive change methods, learning theory and contemporary approaches from NLP. Our coaching model has been developed over a ten-year period and is ideally suited to individuals managing change in their professional and personal lives.

We provide dedicated resources and expert support to professionals working in the business and medical fields. This also includes clinical supervision and therapeutic support to health professionals.

Psychometric Assessment & Feedback

We use a comprehensive range of recognised psychometric tests to assess written, verbal and numerical reasoning, personality preferences and cognitive styles.  All assessments are conducted by BPS accredited psychometrics experts and structured feedback sessions are supported by written development reports.

Employee Wellbeing Assessments

We provide customised employee assessments to determine stress and motivation levels, behavioural issues and relationship management problems.  Employees undertake a comprehensive assessment and are provided with an individual wellbeing report and a range of goals and techniques to develop personal resilience.

Employee Psychotherapy & Counselling Services

We provide psychotherapy and counselling services to individuals requiring personal support across a wide range of psychological, emotional and behavioural issues.  These services are completely confidential and are provided for individuals and on behalf of organisations.

Trauma Therapy and Psychological Rehabilitation

We use established evidence based psychological approaches to support individuals who have experienced work related trauma.  Our approach is based on the NICE guidance and draws on established Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and EMDR protocols.

Psychological Health Reports

We provide comprehensive psychological health assessments and written reports relating to psychological suitability for work, development planning, individual capability and employee resilience.

Stress Management and Resilience Coaching

We undertake stress and resilience assessments for individuals, teams and organisations.  Resilience improvement plans and proposals are produced to improve performance and promote psychological wellbeing.

Exit & Redeployment Counselling

We offer a structured redeployment and exit counselling service.  This provides a safe, supportive and confidential environment for employees to understand the implications of change, explore their future options and plan their transition.
